Two Nights, Great Memories —
A Hunt with Guide Kaleb
At Hog SWAT, every Hog Hunt has its own story—and sometimes, it’s the unpredictable nights that leave the strongest memories. Guide Kaleb recently led a two-night Thermal Hog Hunt that brought its share of excitement, challenges, and a whole lot of laughter.
Night one started off slow, but momentum picked up when the group spotted a Lone Hog early on. The team worked together seamlessly, and it was one of those perfect moments that makes it all worthwhile. While the rest of the night was quiet on the fields, the energy stayed high. “Lots of laughs and great conversations,” Kaleb said. “These guys were awesome to spend the night Hunting Wild Hogs with.”
Night two kicked off with some early action as a Coyote came into a call. Chances were taken, but the coyote slipped away. Not long after, the crew got on a Sounder of Hogs that led them on a chase across the field—twice around a running pivot. Eventually, the group had a clear opportunity, and several Pigs were looked like they were almost re-homed, but none remained in the field. Later that night, they spotted another Group Of Wild Hogs, but a distant sound that i’m not allowed to say because google can be weird spooked the animals before anything could develop. To wrap things up, they pulled into one last field and spotted another Coyote in the Wild. A quick mouth call brought it in close, but once again, it managed to slip away.
Despite the wild ups and downs, the experience was everything a great Wild Hog Hunt should be. “These were some of the best guys I’ve guided yet,” Kaleb said. “Tons of laughs and some awesome memories made.”
At Hog SWAT, that’s what it’s all about—long nights, good people, and stories that’ll last well beyond the Hog Hunting Season.

Under the Stars with Guide Hank:
A Wild Night in the Georgia Fields
Every Hog Hunt has its own story, and some nights play out like a scene from a movie. On a recent Thermal Hog Hunt with Hog SWAT, Guide Hank led a group through an unforgettable night full of twists, turns, and the kind of unpredictable Wild Hog Action that keeps us coming back for more.
It all began around midnight when Hank spotted a Sounder in the distance. The team began a careful stalk, moving quietly through the Planted Field. But just as they were getting close, one sharp-eyed Pig caught a glimpse of movement and took off—leading the rest of the group deeper into the field.
Not ones to give up easily, Hank and the Hunters recalibrated and started a second approach. Confidence was high. Then, out of nowhere, two Coyotes came charging over the hill straight toward the Sounder Of Hogs. What could’ve ended the night actually turned into a wild advantage.
In a surprising twist, the Sows stood their ground and pushed back, creating a noisy standoff that distracted the group just long enough for Hank and the team to settle in and make the most of the opportunity. It was a moment that required patience, precision, and quick decision-making.
After that burst of action, the team continued scanning the fields until 4 a.m., soaking in the quiet beauty of rural South Georgia and the thrill of the chase. The night wrapped up with stories, laughs, and the satisfaction of a Wild Hog Hunt well executed.
Whether you’re a First-Time Hunter or a Seasoned Hunter , nights like these are what Hog SWAT is all about—real action, real strategy, and real memories.
